A note from The Shanes

Every year, we get to do something we love: bring the political campaign industry together to celebrate the very best work it produced.

Named for Campaigns & Elections founder Stanley Foster Reed, the Reed Awards honor excellence in campaign management, political consulting, design, grassroots, and advocacy. A Reed Award is the most exacting recognition in political campaigning.

The 2027 Reed Awards will honor winners across 29 distinct category groups, including dedicated groups for International (non-US) work and Social Impact. If your team did something great this cycle, this is the place to prove it.

But the Reeds have always been about more than trophies. Each year, those who build campaigns from every corner of the industry come together in the same place to reflect on the cycle that was and plan for what’s to come. As longtime attendee Josh Nanberg put it, “the Reeds is like a family reunion in the best possible way.” Watching that happen is what we look forward to most, and it’s why we confidently call the Reeds the campaign industry event of the year.

This year, we're going bigger than ever: three full days, March 17–19, 2027, in Atlanta. Winners will be announced there, and we can't wait to see you on stage.
